Born in Idaho, I spent 30 years in law enforcement of which the last 22 years was with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. Along the way I was fortunate to have an interesting and fulfilling career holding nearly every assignment department. I retired in 2002 as undersheriff. That same year my wife and I moved to Moses Lake to enjoy the wonderful quality of life and modest cost of living that we enjoy in Grant County. We have never looked back.
Professionally, I am a lifelong learner who enjoys school and learning new skills. I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. I attended as an athlete on a football scholarship. I retired from law enforcement after 30 years of service, after having a great career doing almost everything there was to be done, at nearly every level. My real estate career started in 2006, and in December of 2008, I finished the coursework and successfully passed the Washington State real estate "broker's" exam. I am currently licensed as an "managing broker".
I have always been involved in my community especially with projects that involve kids. I have also been active in political efforts that help shape the future of Moses Lake, and other communities where I have lived.
Real estate transactions often involve complex issues, and often emotional people, nearly each has some sort of glitch that needs to be solved. My law enforcement career has given me a diverse background and training to help me deal with difficult situations, difficult people, and to be a problem solver. My promise to you is that is that I will be competent, trained, knowledgeable and professional at all times.
